A focus for BCCF is providing survivorship culture. As it stands, people are only coming for medical services in later stages of cancer due to lack of relevant awareness and therefore in Malawi, the expected survival rate of Breast Cancer patients is only 18 months. This can be changed to full recovery and healthy life expectancy, with awareness and an emphasis on
survivorship culture. BCCF helps survivors by creating physiotherapy brochures for patients PRE and POST mastectomy. BCCF also provides FREE prosthetics and bra fittings as well as FREE Survivors Group Counselling.
