Who should test for Breast Cancer
The FREE breast cancer screening services at The BCCF Clinic are held twice weekly in Dream Center Mandala, Blantyre. The clinic screens approximately 60-80 patients per month. BCCF also takes the FREE Breast Screening Clinic (portable ultrasound machine, printer, Radiographers and Nurse Assistant) to different rural areas. This is crucial in helping as many people as possible who don’t have access to medical facilities, detect any early signs of breast cancer and furthermore, to help guide patients in the right direction for medical
treatment. As of October 2024, BCCF have screened over 4000 people for free of which 1000 are from rural areas.
