BCCF Programs and Initiatives
Clinic Services
BCCF operates FREE breast cancer screening clinics every Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dream Center in Mandala. The clinics are fast, painless, and open to everyone without the need for prior booking.
Outreach Clinics
To ensure accessibility, BCCF conducts FREE outreach clinics in rural communities, bringing services directly to people in need. These efforts are currently focused on the southern region of Malawi.
Awareness Programs
BCCF provides FREE breast cancer awareness workshops through community sensitization meetings. These sessions cover key topics, including breast cancer risk factors, statistics, self-examination techniques, and debunking myths and misconceptions about breast cancer.
Collaboration with the Medical Community
BCCF partners with health NGOs to extend life-saving breast cancer education and services. Notably, BCCF participates in a health meetings where we present the impactful work on breast cancer awareness and screening in Malawi.
Survivorship Culture
For breast cancer survivors, BCCF fosters a survivorship culture that provides vital post-mastectomy support. This includes FREE informational brochures on self-care and nutrition, FREE prosthetics, FREE counseling services, and peer support, helping survivors care for their health and well-being.
